Allego Customers Chart a Course Towards Improved Sales Productivity at the Sales Success Summit

93 Customers Gathered to Share Best Practices, Preview the Release of Allego 4.3 and Select the Inaugural Trailblazer Award Winner: Nuveen

NEEDHAM, Mass.-Allego, the leading mobile video sales learning platform, concluded its first ever customer conference, the Allego Sales Success Summit (S3), drawing 93 members of the Allego community to strategize, share best practices and get a preview of the latest additions to the Allego platform, which will be available this week in Allego version 4.3. The S3 conference took place June 19-20 in Cambridge, MA.

For its inaugural customer event, Allego brought together sales leaders from organizations across a variety of industries who share the challenge of maximizing sales productivity in an era when sales teams are further dispersed geographically and buyers are more knowledgeable and empowered than ever before. Allego is a modern sales training and enablement platform that improves sales performance by enabling teams to capture and share peer-generated video and training content that reps can consume on their mobile devices while on-the-go.

Allego 4.3 Preview

During S3, Allego demonstrated the newest release of its mobile video sales learning platform, Allego 4.3. Developed in response to customer feedback, Allego 4.3 gives sales organizations more control over training outcomes. They’ll now have tools to measure the value of training with greater precision and target training investments more accurately. Trainers and L&D professionals looking for better participation and engagement with their learning management system (LMS) modules can now make those modules show up in an Allego course.

Those looking to integrate training partners’ custom content into Allego can now do so. Metrics-driven content curation means trainers and managers can give reps precisely the kind of content that resonates with them. Allego 4.3 gives trainers and managers greater assurance of rep engagement by transforming learning activities into fun, competitive games. Additionally, improved content search empowers Allego customers to facilitate self-directed learning with even greater effectiveness. Allego 4.3 will be available this week.

“With YouTube viewers now watching more than 1 billion hours of video daily, we are clearly witnessing the ‘perfect storm’ of mobile, social and video,” Mark Magnacca told attendees in his opening remarks. “It is incredibly exciting to see how these trends have converged to accelerate content consumption and sharing, and truly transform how we learn. With even greater personalization capabilities coming to our platform, the Allego community will soon be entering the ‘Just for Me’ era of learning.”

Presentations and Customer Success Stories

S3 presenters included Allego’s co-founders, CEO Yuchun Lee and President Mark Magnacca, as well as VP of Products Andre Black, Vice President of Customer Success Laurie Long, and CMO Andrew Hally. Additionally, several Allego customers participated in panel sessions focused on ensuring consistent messaging across sales teams, reinforcing critical sales knowledge with microlearning, and promoting meaningful engagement in the sales learning process.

“It’s been our great pleasure to welcome members of the Allego customer community to the Boston area for the Sales Success Summit,” said Yuchun Lee. “Throughout the event, customers’ enthusiasm and commitment to the Allego platform was clear. Allego customers remain fully committed to mobile video sales learning as the most effective means to empower sales reps with content, coaching and reinforcement and it was extremely gratifying to hear the many impactful applications of our technology.”

Trailblazer Award Winner

At S3, Allego presented its first annual Trailblazer Award, created to highlight new and innovative ways companies use Allego to transform sales enablement and training. Earlier this spring, a panel of industry experts, including Bob Kelly of the Sales Management Association, Peter Ostrow of SiriusDecisions and Jim Lundy of Aragon Research, selected Apptio, MFS Investment Management and Nuveen as the three Trailblazer finalists from a pool of submissions. All three finalists presented at S3 and the audience voted for the winner. Nuveen was ultimately selected as the Trailblazer Award winner based on its innovative use of Allego to quickly communicate breaking news and product updates to its sales team, train reps and onboard new hires faster, more effectively coach reps, and deliver on-demand investment strategy and market commentary to the sales teams so they have the freedom to learn on their own.

“We’re very pleased to be recognized with this Trailblazer Award, particularly by our peers who are also approaching sales learning in their own innovative ways,” said Michael Ianni, vice president, sales development manager at Nuveen. “We use Allego to share exclusive internal-use-only content to help enhance the dialogue our sales people have with their financial advisor clients. Further, it’s exciting to learn how others in the Allego community address various business training and sales challenges and how we can apply that knowledge to better serve our clients.”
