Allego’s management team blends customer focus and deep industry experience with a proven track record of delivering enterprise software for the world’s top companies.
Prior to Allego, he co-founded and served as CEO of marketing automation provider Unica, guiding it through a successful IPO and $500M sale to IBM. Yuchun is also an Executive in Residence at venture firm General Catalyst Partners, the Executive Chairman of customer experience software firm Clarabridge, serves on the board of Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: VRTX), and is an Executive Advisor with Summit Partners, a global venture and private equity firm. He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Mark has spent the last 15 years helping sales leaders shorten sales cycles and distribute their best ideas faster. He has delivered innovative, practice-development and business-building strategies as a presentation coach for a wide range of financial service companies. Mark is the author of “So What? How To Communicate What Really Matters to Your Audience.” His work has been featured in numerous media outlets including Fox TV, The New York Times and The Boston Globe. Prior Allego, Mark founded Insight Development Group, Inc., a leading sales and presentation training firm specializing in the financial services industry. As a former financial advisor, Mark brings a unique perspective to the world of consultative selling. Mark is a graduate of Babson College.
Andre has over 17 years of experience in software as an innovation consultant, product manager, and user experience designer. Prior to Allego, Andre built the UX Innovation practice for Medullan, Inc.as Chief Creative Officer. He led numerous product strategy, consumer engagement, and mobile UI design projects for clients including Aetna, Humana, Verizon, and BCBSA. Andre spent eight years at Unica in UX, GUI development, and product vision roles, ultimately as Director of Product Management for Unica’s $150M Enterprise Interactive Marketing Suite. As an Electrical Engineering undergraduate at Cornell University, Andre co-founded Jump.com, a VC-backed web app that won “Best of Show” at Internet Showcase ’99 before being acquired by Microsoft.
Ed’s 25 years of experience developing high quality, high performance software began with programming at the age of 11. He started his own bulletin board system (BBS) while in high school and coded for the MIT Media Lab’s “Movies of the Future Group” while an undergrad at MIT. Prior to Allego, Ed was an early employee at Unica Corporation where he led several development teams en route to Unica’s IPO in 2005 and subsequent acquisition by IBM. Before that, Ed worked at a number of financial companies including Goldman Sachs, where he developed real-time trading systems, and Fidelity Investments, where he developed analytical tools for fund managers.
Scott leads Allego’s commercial operations including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Previously, he was the COO / General Manager of Compete, a digital consumer intelligence provider, until selling and transitioning that business into comScore. Prior to that, Scott led social media analytics pioneer Crimson Hexagon as CEO from 2010-2011. Earlier in his career, he ran the product function for several Boston-area startups. Scott began his career developing software for a systems integrator serving Fortune 500 clients across the Northeast, ultimately managing regional practice groups over the next 10 years. Scott holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from MIT.
George is responsible for Allego’s customer acquisition and sales goals. A proven sales leader with over 20 years of sales, marketing, operations and management experience, George is a sales enablement enthusiast who loves tools and systems that empower people. Prior to Allego, George served as the Chief Sales Officer of Compete during its rapid growth from $30M to $110M. Previously, he was the principal owner of a Sandler Training franchise in Marlborough, MA. George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Anselm College. He was also voted Father of the Year an unprecedented 20 times (by his family).
Laurie is responsible for the onboarding, training and ongoing support of customers worldwide. With more than 20 years of high tech client services leadership experience, she is focused on building and scaling services teams to support the ongoing success of customers while growing revenue for the company. Prior to joining Allego, Laurie held senior client services leadership positions at IMN, Axeda and Unica, where she created the customer success function and scaled the team over nine years as the company grew from $5M to $125M in revenues.
Melyssa specializes in early-stage business development, sales strategy and product-market positioning. Her 20 years in high tech includes leadership roles in sales, customer experience, strategic alliances and operations. Melyssa has worked with globally distributed sales and marketing organizations to successfully adopt new and innovative technologies. Her clients have included CNN, Twitter, NBC, Oppenheimer, GE and General Motors. Melyssa received a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and a Master in Manufacturing Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Faith has over 30 years of experience in high tech across various financial roles. Prior to joining Allego, she held an executive position at IBM, playing a leadership role in accelerating the growth of its cloud businesses, and was directly involved in the acquisition and integration of several companies. Faith is also a proud alumni of the Unica mafia where she was the VP of Finance and Corporate Controller. Earlier in her career, she held controllership roles at Aspen Technology, Sonus Networks, Nortel Networks. She began her career at Digital Equipment Corporation. Faith is a graduate of Babson College and received her MBA from Bentley University.
Wayne St. Amand
Wayne is responsible for driving business expansion through Allego’s global corporate and product marketing initiatives. A seasoned marketing leader, Wayne most recently served as global CMO & SVP of Nielsen’s Marketing Effectiveness business unit. Wayne has a long track record of accelerating the growth of technology businesses, playing a key role in one IPO and three $100+ million exits. He launched his marketing career on the agency side, creating successful campaigns for industry leaders such as HP, Motorola and Texas Instruments. Wayne is a graduate of Boston University, where he received his B.A. in Mass Communications and Marketing.
Joe oversees all aspects of Allego’s Human Resources Management and is responsible for defining the company’s vision, objectives and practices relating to its talent. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at an international cloud-based email management company, where he was responsible for building the global HR organization and helped take the company public. With more than 25 years of senior high-technology industry experience, including multiple leadership roles in HR, Joe has a passion for employee coaching and building high performance teams. Joe is a strategic thinker known for his can-do attitude and for being a great coach to executives and business partners alike. Joe is a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Framingham State University.
